Lots of things going on with the new 125g tank....check it out!
Let the show begin!!!

Canopy in the raw stages
Canopy is made of 1" Hardwood Maple, and Oak trim.
Top lifted up!
You can see the piano hinge that I used to attached the top of the canopy, this will allow me to get in the tank with big items if needed.
After all was said and done!
This is a pic after I just stained the entire Canopy.
Lets hook up some lights!

Wire Management
Here you can see some of my anal tendencies in action. I tried to make sure it looked presentable from the back even though no one will see it. Notice the brass groumets that I used to cover the holes where the wires exit the top of the canopy. Shrink wrapping was used to conceal and hold together the wires.
All finished, except some possible supplemental lighting. Haven't decided just yet.
You can see here that the wiring and installation are basically threw. I haven't decided on supplemental lighting just yet (VHO or true actinic PC). The Canopy is 72"X15"X19", and is stained with Minwax Polyshades (Honey Pine), and has about 6 coats on it. The wood I used is hardwood maple for the body (1") and oak bracing and trim. Lighting will be 3X400w MH and will start out with 2X10K Ushio's and 1X20K Radium in the center.
Finished and ready to go!
Just need to start on the stand now!!
